and will use the information we collect about you to process your order
and provide a more personalized shopping experience.
When you make a purchase on TheAudioBookStore.com, you're asked to provide
your name, mailing/billing address, phone number, email address, future
account login password, and credit card information — all of the elements
necessary to fulfill your order and to simplify ordering in the future.
Your phone number is ONLY used should we need
to contact you regarding the fulfillment of your order.
Occasionally we may send you promotional emails about TheAudioBookStore.com
products, services and contests that we hope will interest you. At any
time you can choose to unsubscribe to these emails by simply clicking
the Safe Unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email. Safe Unsubscribe
guarantees your permanent removal for our email list but does not affect
your account with TheAudioBookStore.com in any way.
Under no circumstances will TheAudioBookStore.com rent, sell or exchange
your name or other personally-identifiable information to third-party
companies for their marketing purposes.
Shipping Policy
TheAudioBookStore.com's default shipping carrier and method is UPS Standard
Ground. Though many of the products we sell are stocked in our St. Louis,
Missouri warehouse, occasionally items may ship from our partner distributors
or directly from the manufacturer. This will not affect your product
cost nor will it change your quoted shipping amount or estimated delivery
time unless noted.
Items displaying this icon ship free of charge, via UPS Standard Ground,
within the 48 contiguous U.S. states only.
Items displaying this icon ship same day if the order is received before
3:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Some exceptions
may apply during certain Holidays.
Should your product be received damaged due to shipping, please contact
us immediately at 314-469-3767 for assistance.
Return Policy
Audio books may not be returned once opened. Unopened audio books may
be returned according to the following guidelines.
If you are not completely satisfied with your product, you may return
it within 14 days of the sale date. Return shipping is the responsibility
of the purchaser. Except where prohibited by law, a 15% restocking fee
must be charged if returned opened or in a non-factory sealed box. There
is no restocking fee for a defective product returned in exchange for
the exact same product.
Return Instructions:
Merchandise which meets the Return guidelines above, may
be returned via mail. Before returning
anything by mail, you first must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization
("RMA"),
provided ONLY by contacting one of our customer care representatives
either via
email or phone.
Any returns mailed to us without a pre-approved RMA may be refused without
notice, automatically returned and a handling fee assessed. An RMA is
valid for 10 days from the date given.
You will be responsible for all shipping and insurance charges for returns,
unless otherwise indicated. If you choose not to insure your package,
we may not accept return of the product and you will be responsible for
any loss or damage. Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in like new
condition in conformity with this policy, the purchase price will be
credited to your credit card or a mail refund check will be issued for
a purchase. Allow 14
days (not including delivery time for mail refunds) from when we accept
your returned product for the processing of your credit. Additional charges
may be assessed for products returned with any missing items such as
manuals and/or accessories. For product that we verify to be defective,
we will reimburse you for your original shipping expense on the product
that you return or exchange.
Warranty Policy

Since we're Authorized Retailers for every product we stock, all new products
are sold with the manufacturer's limited warranty. The warranty period
and service varies by manufacturer and product - although most carry
a 1-2 year limited warranty. We encourage you to visit the manufacturer's
web site for full warranty information, or contact us via
email
and we'll provide the full text or a link to
the requested warranty.
MAP Price Policy
"MAP Price" stands for "Minimum Advertised Price". Some
manufacturers require that their products not be advertised below their
MAP Price. When we choose to reduce the price, we display our sale price
only within the shopping cart per the manufacturer's guidelines. In these
cases, simply click the "Add to Cart" button on the product detail page
to see if we are offering a special reduced sale price for that product.
It's our strict policy to follow the guidelines set forth by our partner
manufacturers. (NOTE:
Adding an item to the Shopping Cart in no way commits you to purchase
the product.)
