Being a pastor's kid is - it's got its pros and its cons, you know, 'cause you could sit up in the front row and, like, everyone knows who you are, even if you don't know who they are, you know. But the con of it is that people automatically get this idea. It's kind of funny because although some people think that, like, PKs, or pastor's kids, are sweet little angels, I mean, I'll admit, I'm no - I'm no angel.
Teenage Diaries producer Joe Richman gives tape recorders to young people around the country to document their lives. Mandy Maldonado lives in Chicago where she attends an evangelical Christian church. Every Sunday, Mandy arrives at least an hour early for services, because that's one of the things you do when your father is the pastor. Mandy's diary was originally heard on National Public Radio's All Things Considered.
