This was a great alternate history story. What happens when an advanced society is thrown into the past? How do they influence ancient cultures, and how do they survive without modern tech. Very well written 1st book in the series.

The first 2/3's I whipped through and then it got....so....slow. I enjoyed reading about how they adapted to the environment and the people of the time. The battles, meh.
