Sometimes I think Dean Koontz has lost his mind. I think he is a very sick man. I really love his work, but sometimes I think he has to go to another place to be able to write some of the things that he writes.

This was a good novel with a good villain, but it was too bizarre and sadistic for me. The hero/heroines were okay. Overall, it's not one I'd recommend to readers unaccustomed to Dean Koontz's novels.
